Who We Are

The aim of Barrie Guitar Academy is to provide an alternative to the hectic pace and business of a traditional music school. The serenity of the home studio environment is always more conducive to learning and growing on your musical journey. There are no ‘assembly line’ lesson schedules where you feel rushed out the door because your time is up. If it takes a few extra minutes to explain a concept or idea you will get it.

David Beazley (B.F.A., B.Ed., O.C.T.) is an experienced guitarist, instructor, educator, composer and performer. He has over 30 years experience teaching guitar, spent time performing locally and abroad and possesses a deep knowledge of music through his studies at Humber College and York University. He also keeps himself busy teaching in the public school system. Sharing his love of music and the guitar is a passion, and has passed that on to hundreds of students over the years.
